Anita Barone
Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham, a chef in the Seinfeld Episode The Shoes from the fourth season. Barone was looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member on Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife during the first time she appeared on Friends. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she left to pursue full-time work. Barone was a guest on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the very first season (from 1995 until 1996) Then she appeared on The War at Home between 2005 and 2007. Barone has also been a guest on Daddio an American sitcom that premiered in 2000. Barone's other television credits include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone won the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award 2005 in 2004 for her performance on the film One Last Ride. The following year, three years after The War at Home ended it's running time, Barone started her role as a recurring character for the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave guest starred as J.J. Jones in two episodes.
